Formed in 1995, Wingspan focused on leadership programs for disadvantaged Junior High School students to help reach their potential. Offered through Public Schools and Boys and Girls Clubs, an earlier version (EAGLETS) helped change the lives and direction of many students. Now our two programs, Habits of Heroes and The Show KiDS are being offered for the same purpose through current technology which allows us to reach large numbers of participants throughout the United States for an even greater outcome.
In order to establish a habit, it is necessary to practice a behavior in a repeated pattern. Whether establishing a good or bad habit, repetition is required. The Habits of Heroes are good habits from the wisdom of “those who for generations have preceded us”, and, when practicing long-term, they become the norm.
Our process – Teach to Learn – is designed for the teaching role to be shared equally among three participants within your Triad, resulting in each individual teaching twice in the Student’s program, three times in the Mentor’s program and four times in the Master’s program.
Our Learning Management System is designed for your easy access according to your schedules and provides audio / video / text and music for each of the elements of the Practices.

Ways to Participate:
The Habits of Heroes tuition for Levels two and three generates income to support the work of the non-profit which provides scholarships for Level one and for those unable to pay for the course.
The Show KiDS is supported currently by donations from our viewers and those private donors who encourage this impactful way of reaching our children. A subscription service will be provided after a 6 month pilot period providing enthusiastic parents and grandparents a way to participate.
